yay... my mime test for drama is finally over... n i got 8/10... not bad la, considering it is my first time!! hehe.. :) i kept laughing and couldn concentrate during practices, but the irony is that my drama teacher said i had good focus!!!! haha...
anyway, i am glad it is over, though exams are next week! but to look on the bright side, holidays are coming too!!! :) I WANNA GO BACK SPORE!!! haha.... everyone seems to be going back to their countries :(... missing 4D... haha...
these few days haven been anything more interesting than fretting over drama... n i bought a 2L tub of ice cream yest and it melted in my freezer!!! i had to put it in yana's freezer.. sigh.. just stocking up for exams slurge... hehe.... i am feeling guilty already... :P... yup then, gg back to my maths hw.......... bb

my dad finally (or sadly.. hehe...) went back today... now i am all alone.. is that a gd thing? anyway, yest was also the closing of the commonwealth games.. the fireworks were splendid but the beginning part was boring and my jeans were wet frm sitting on the grass....
exams are around the corner, another week or so..but gd thing i only hav three papers and the rest of the week wld be free... and i hav to present my mime this fri!!!!!! sigh sigh... not really looking forward to that.... joel, yana and i are planning to practise together tmr.... actually we did so yest, but all of us were too shy to start first.. haha.. in the end we just chatted at the park and ate ice-cream.... hehe....

happy birthday to me.. haha...
ok, actually i tot today wld turn out to be a depressing day as i am one year older... that's sad to me... haha...but....thanks to yana, benita and joel, i think i had a really pleasant surprise... let me fill u in.. haha...
today, joel and i had the same HOI lecture, and we sat together.. he told me that yana borrowed his EAP ws and since he wanted to get it back frm her, he followed me back hm since she live on the same floor as me...
emm...he went to yana room and then "knock, knock, knock".. i open my room door and then this plate of cake with three small candles was right in front of me.. haha... we shared the cake(muffin actually).. banana flavour.. its was nice and really sweet of them.. haha...
afterwards, my dad and i went to the city and had japanese food.... on the way home, we passed by this park and heard instruments playing so we walked to the park and there was this indian band playing modern music... their instruments were so shinny.. their music was really good and full of life.. we sat at the park for abt half an hour hearing them play...
emm.... not a bad birthday huh? haha.. i am contented.... hehe... here's a shoutout to those who wished me happy birthday today.... "thanks!"...

here's a sumary of my week...
emm.. monday, my cousin finally came and i got all my stuff that i left in spore!! haha.. i got my printer and the rest of my clothes... and foodstuff....we had dinner at lygon street(italian food) and wow, the portion was really a lot... we had gelato after dinner too... sigh, i am really addicted to the icecream here...
tuesday, my dad roasted two huge chunks of beef and made my whole room smell of beef... haha... luckily my cousin was there to help us finish up everything... but it was really good.. yummy...
wednesday? the commonwealth games started and we decided to watch the opening ceremony.. it was quite boring in the beginning... the event was held in the MCG, but we could also watch the event by the yara river... there were these fishes lining the middle of the river, each species of fish representing each country participating.... there were performances etc, but the best was the last part, the fireworks...!! haha.. almost the whole of melb city was at the venue and imagine the rush to go back home.. luckily, i could just walk home.. NO public transport for me.. hahaha...
thursday, the last day of my cousin's stay so we decided to go to the docklands to hav dinner... the scenery there was really nice as it was like a harbour with all the sailing boats and seagulls.. haha... we checked out all the restaurant before finally deciding on one... the restaurant really serves exotic food... desert, we had this chocolate cake with thick chocolate sauce with ice cream...three of us shared one.. haha... on the way back, we boarded this tram that was decorated with lights... it was a campaign by parkistan govt. and the whole tram was blasting with indian music... haha.. i think my dad and cousin were a bit drunk and started dancing in the tram... haha.. there were others who were dancing too... haha.. but it was really funny!! wat a night.. my cousn left for the airport abt 1130... hope he doesn start dancing on the plane.. hehe...
today, sat, after classes abt 330, janice, melissa and I decided to take a tram all the way to St. Kilda beach cos our drama teacher said that there wld be a carnival there and we wanted to take a look.... we waited like half an hour for the tram and it didn come.. sigh... so we took another tram there but had to walk further.. the marathon was over for the commonwealth games as it was too late by the time we reached...we seemed to be the only ones walkng towards the beach... the rest were walking back.. haha..but there was a beach market there, like road side stalls that sells bags, jewelleries etc... we decided to share a fish and chips and ate by the beach...
yup so there... end of my story.... bb..

my toe is painful... haha.. today's really a hot hot day in melb, abt 37 degrees.. compared to yest, it is more than 10 degrees highter!! seird weather... sigh...
when i first bought the lion king tickets three weeks ago, it seems i will hav to wait a long time before watching it.... but woosh... today is the day!! haha... anyway, the whole musical lasted abt two and the half hours.... the whole performance was magical, but i like the simba the best(when he was young)... the boy who acted was really cute and young, looked abt 9-10 years old, but he acted really well... haha.. he can really sing too...he was somersaulting all around the stage... besides, the monkey or baboon, watever... the crazy one in the story, was really funny too... he keep making those weird noises and showing his red buttocks to the audience.. haha... the songs and sound effect was really great and made the whole musical really fascinating... haha.. besides, the whole threatre was really full, and the building itself is really nice, cos it is abt 80 years old, and hav that english and traditional feel to it... besides the opening & the ending were the best too.... a big bang! haha...
now comes to the sad part, since i was wearing high heels to the theatre, and had to walk all the way home, my toe hurt... hope it doesnt turn into a blister..

busy, busy, busier...
sigh, since sch start this week, it's like a race.. lecturers go so fast and hav lots of revision to do... haha.. think i getting more consistent le, instead of always waiting till exams to study.. haha.. anyway, i hav full days on mon and fri, frm 9-530 and other days hav some free time..
besides, i hav drama today, my first drama session.. frm 345 t0 515, to end the sch week... not bad huh? haha...anyway, the teacher's name is jack, so he cld easily rem my name, & calls me jac.. haha... he is one psycho teacher, who keep smiling all the time and is very dynamic..we learnt how to do mime and we hav a mime test in 4 weeks!i am so gg to die.. ahha... but it was rather fun and enjoyable lesson... haha... better than those straight and long lectures...
ohya, my dad surprised me with an electric organ which he carried all the way home & he said it was my early birthday prez.. haha.. i hav been missing my piano so kind of a gd alternative though it isn full size.. just leave few notes out.. haha..
my cousin is coming here on mon!! yay.. i will be able to get those stuff i left behind when i first came.. hehe... my bolster and the big bear (hopefully) haha.... anyway, hope can find time to go bag shopping here.. sigh, i really need a proper bag to sch.. haha.. my sis and i were like comtemplating a clumper bag (red!!) on the msn yest...haha...nvm, i think it's too ex for a bag, not worth it.. haha...

today we visited my dad's frien hse, whose daughter also studies in Trinity... the whole family migrated here and invited us for lunch... since it is out of the city, we bought the train tickets, which was like $6.10 for each person... a one day pass.... quite ex i think... anyway, their hse was quite nice, and everything in the hse were shipped frm spore to aust.. they paid $8000 for a 20 foot container and even brought their beds and piano.. haha... but to think abt it, it was quite worth it cos to buy all over again, wld cost even more...
we had lunch and while the parents tok, we watched dvds.. i managed to watch three movies.. haha..but knowing me, i scanned most of the scenes so watched quite fast....
they brought us to IKEA and i bought some boxes and other furniture... by the time i reacher hm, was abt 615pm... since we still had credit in our train tic, we decided to take the tram to st. kilda beach.. it was quite a long ride, but the beach was really beautiful.... i dont know how to describe it, but it was really nice (see photo)... the wind was strong & it felt so cold.. haha...we had dinner at a rest. nearby before gg back to the apartment... nighty...

i am turning into an ice-cream freak... haha.. for the past 5 days, i hav been having two scoops of ice-cream a day.. haha...
anway, yest, after sch at 515pm, we went to uni bk shop as singz had to buy her textbooks.. clever girl, she pulled joel and me along so we cld help her carry bks home... haha... anyway, i got to see how's college sq. like, and i think the only thing is that the apartment is too hot.. besides that, the place is not bad... after that, we met yana and ben and tried the most famous gelato along lygon street... i tried green tea flavour.. nice... haha..
today, i have no sch.. yipee.. tmr too... seems relaxing.. but actually sch hasn really started yet, next week sld be getting busier... i went to the bank and sorted out my telephone and internet banking so i can pay my rent... don wan them after me for my rent.. haha..
then, my dad and i went to the carlton garden and went to the melbourne meuseum... it was really interesting, but i think the human section was the most intriguing. there was a video on sex and how the baby comes out of the mom... it really looks scary... shant describe any further... hehe....there was a guard there to prevent anyone frm taking pictures cos there were nudity involved...
at night, we had dinner with henry and had another heavy dinner at an italian rest. just outside the city... we ordered osters, pasta and beef and shared.. the portions were really huge.. for desert, we had ice cream and the three of us shared one serving cos it was like ten flavours stacked on top of one another... can u imagine?... i couldn even differentiate the diff. flavours...
indeed satisfying dinner.... emm...after my korean show, here i am typing this blog.. haha.... tmr another rest day... so ya, think i gg to watch movie le.. finally... bye then... :)
